I wrote to Phil’s County Councillors:
Dear Mike Sharpe, Lynda Clinton and Mick Brown,
With a view to your re-election, this is to ask for your support, on behalf of your constituent Phil Thompson.
His 3 greatgrandchildren were unlawfully snatched by Walsall Council and subsequently adopted without appropriate paper work.
Phil was part of the UK Delegation who went to Brussels where I presented the petition “Abolish Adoptions without Parental Consent”.
In Brussels, Phil appeared on Portuguese TV and later, BBC Look North reported about the high profile Portuguese family.
None of Phil’s ceaseless efforts have shown any evidence of ‘public service’. This is therefore to ask whether you’d be willing
** to speak with your Director of Children’s Services and investigate what can be done to rectify this injustice and cruelty;
** to set up an “Ethics and Justice Panel” as a ‘one-stop shop’ where victims can get heard and redress?
Given that the EU Petitions Committee will carry out a fact finding mission into the UK, it would seem best if such panels comprised not just councillors and MPs but also MEPs.
